Get ready for a visual and cerebral treat with this follow up to the cult-classic Donnie Darko. Its 1995, and Donnies sister Samantha (Daveigh Chase Donnie Darko) escapes her troubled family life and embarks on a road trip with rebellious Corey (Brianna Evigan Step Up 2: The Streets). Their car breaks down in a sleepy desert town and the girls adjust to their new temporary home. Whilst Corey gets cosy with the dark a brooding Randy (Ed Westwick Gossip Girl), Sam unwittingly engages the curiosity of Iraq Jack (James Lefferty One Tree Hill). When a meteorite strikes, prompting science geek Jeremy (Jackson Rathbone Twilight) to take an interest in the girls visit, its clear their stopover is more than a coincidence.
