Et si, pour prouver que vous n’êtes pas un robot, vous jouiez à DOOM ? C’est l’idée d’un développeur qui a créé un Captcha qui demande de tuer des monstres pour se connecter à un service. Résoudre un Captcha est souvent pénible. Associer des images, finir un puzzle ou rentrer des chiffres et des lettres, rien de très original, mais pas toujours si facile que ça. Et si vous jouiez à un jeu vidéo à place, comme Doom ? Après tout, le plus célèbre des FPS fonctionne sur n’importe quoi. L’idée vient de Guillermo Rauch, le PDG de Vercel, une agence qui produit des sites web. Il a souhaité proposer une nouvelle manière de compléter un Captcha. L’idée, c’est de jouer à un niveau de Doom en tuant trois monstres, tout en évitant de se faire tuer. Le tout en mode Nightmare, la plus difficile du jeu. Ce n’est pas la première fois qu’on voit un Captcha avec Doom : PCGamer parlait d’un autre système similaire il y a quelques années.
